A well known Theatre in Education company called The Paperbirds came to the Academy to work with
KS4 Drama and Music students.
The afternoon started with actors running a drama workshop for GCSE Drama candidates and a music composer carried out a music workshop for the GCSE Music candidates.
This was followed by a performance of a play called 'In a Thousand Pieces' which is based on the theme of sex trafficking and continued the link with Oasis STOP THE TRAFFIK week at the Academy.
The students learnt lots of new skills and found the afternoon both enjoyable and thought provoking .
