Over the past term, year 7 students have been exploring cultural diversity; each class has been researching and studying a wide range of aspects from different countries, including France, Spain, India, Jamaica and Greece. They discovered what cultural diversity is, how we all differ and become individual.
Students presented their research to each other through the means of a "World Market".
Each classroom was transformed into a market place showing displays, artefacts, interactive tasks and food tasting from their researched country. Students thoroughly enjoyed learning to count to ten in French, Greek dancing, dressing in a sari and wearing a bindi.
