On Saturday 6th March, the Oasis Academy Bristol band played at the Trinity Centre to audition for a chance to play at Glastonbury this year.
The band members who played were:

Ryan Perry
Patrick Longman
Michael Kennedy
Olivia Hopkins
The event was hosted by Avon and Somerset police and the judges were, Chief Inspector Mark Jackson, Miriam Brown a professional singer and a Radio 5 presenter.
The first song written by the band was performed first and received mixed reviews. The second song a cover of "the reason" was voted as "great" by the judges. The judges were very impressed with the 2 performances and were surprised at how short a time the band had been together.
Special praise went to Olivia Hopkins for her drumming.
The band were said to be in one of the hardest heats, with 11 other bands performing and average ages being 18.
The results will be announced on March 29 - so watch this space!
