On Monday 4 April a large group of students from Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 attended the Bristol Festival of School Sport and Culture, which is now in its third year. The festival aimed to renew or raise enthusiasm for sport, and give young people a positive experience of sport and physical activity by bringing them into a 'Festival' type atmosphere, which is outside their school environment.
The sports and activities offered at the Festival were non-traditional, and designed to give students a chance to try something new such as: Brazilian football, lacrosse, cycling, cheerleading and many other sporting activities. Every school in Bristol took part in the 3-day event and our students enjoyed the experience and welcomed the opportunity to try new activities.
