During Term 2 we had tremendous success with the Year 8 dancers. In October they won their regional heat of the National Schools Street dance competition. This meant that they qualified for the Grand Final in Blackpool in December. With 32 other teams there was stiff competition but we are pleased to announce that the dancers managed to finish a brilliant 2nd Place.
Out of 100's of teams they are now ranked as second best in Britain and were competing against students, some of whom were a year older. A big thank you to all the staff who supported, especially Mr Bedford who choreographed a fantastic routine and put in months of hard work.
