Maths Challenge for Year 10 students

On Thursday 3rd February, thirty Year 10 students sat the Intermediate Maths Challenge.

The UKMT Individual Maths Challenge is a multiple choice question paper, designed to challenge and stimulate interest in maths in large numbers of students. There are three levels covering  the secondary school range of ages 11 to 18 and together they attract over 600,000 entries from over 4000 schools and colleges.

The Junior and Intermediate Challenges are aimed at the top third of students in each year group. The challenge involves answering 25 multiple choice questions in one hour and is carried out in school under normal examination conditions.

The results of the challenge will be received by the Academy within the next  six weeks. Students can achieve a Bronze, Silver or Gold award. We will publish the results in March as soon as we receive them.

Selected students from year 7 and 8 will be sitting the Junior Challenge in May.

Aye mate! And welcome to limbo! Problem: I have no idea what page you're trying to work on. You need to define a body ID in the template, then turn on the necessary rows and columns in layout.css. Arrrrgh!
